Ever wondered if there are Sauna available in Bangkok? Sure, there are!

Even nice swimming pools are available in several locations.

Sauna are more rarely to find, but both provide a common normal sauna and a steam sauna:

1. A very nice and clean place for having a sauna is in Vibhavadi Towers at the northern end of Bangkok, not far from Chatuchak Park respectively Mo Chit BTS Station. Entrance fee including usage of the pool between the two Vibhavadi Towers is 250 Baht. The pool is at the height at about the 10th floor. The pools temperature is underaverage because of its depth about 1,90 meter. The pool is also hidden from the sunlight in the morning and afternoon.
2. The second i know and personally bought a membership is the one of The Parkland on Bang Na - Trad road at approx. kilometer 6. The daily pass for sauna, swimming pool and the well equipped fitness center is 150 baht, the yearly membership is about 10.000 baht.

Pools you can find on many places, like on top of many Malls:

• The Mall Bangkapi
• The Mall Ngamwongwan
• Central Bang Na
• In Nonthaburi you can swim in the public pool of the Ministry of Health for about 60 baht
• There is also a public pool available at the Kasetsart University in the North of Bangkok.

In some pools u have to wear a swimming suit. The ordinary clothing u can wear almost everywhere in the world is not allowed in many places in Thailand, for example at the Pool of the Ministry of Health, they are quite old fashioned. When i remember correctly they force u to wear a bathing cap also, this is why i dont go there again.
